The Upside Down Museum in George Town was only recently opened, in August 2015. We saw an advertisement in the taxi on the way from the airport to Old Penang Guesthouse and thought it would be fun to try it out.

The  Upside Down Museum is not far from  Old Penang Guesthouse, so we walked over there. The entrance fee is RM27 per person. There are lockers to leave your valuables and shoes in, because shoes are not allowed. Don’t forget to bring a camera, as that is the whole point of the Upside Down Museum.

The friendly staff will help you with the photographs and the upside down part. We spent about an hour in the museum, it’s bigger than you’d expect. You’re basically paying for a photoshoot and some good fun. It is definitely worth it! We had a good laugh and came home with some cool and funny photographs. We only shared a couple of them in this post, otherwise you’d have already seen the whole museum and we wouldn’t want to spoil some of the fun!
